Guess is an iconic American clothing brand founded in 1981 by the Marciano brothers in Los Angeles.

The design of the brand logo was thought out in such a way that it stands out among many others. This is how the famous inverted triangle appeared. The numbers 1201 and 1203 inside the triangle represent the apartment numbers where the brand's headquarters were originally located. And the inscription "U.S.A." identifies the brand as originally of an American manufacturer. The iconic words "washed" and "jeans" became the final elements of the logo — they denote the first manufactured product that started the company's journey in the fashion industry.

Inspired by European culture, the Marciano brothers reinterpreted the concept of denim, which until now was associated only with the traditional American material. One of their pioneering designs was the Marilyn Jeans, a slim-fit jean with three zips that resists losing its shape. It is no coincidence that their name is associated with the feminine ideal that Marilyn Monroe embodies

The main concepts of the brand are Hollywood glamour, French elegance and light provocation, which are present in the brand's collections even today. Such celebrities as: Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Paris Hilton and other models took part in Guess advertising campaigns.
